To help us all get into the Halloween spirit, here's a swingin' track from the ingenious brain of Mr. Burt Bacharach. This was the title song on the soundtrack to the 1958 horror film The Blob (which was also Steve McQueen's first starring role!). It's hard to imagine such an outright goofy song being used to open a horror film, but one listen and it's stuck in your head. Vintage Bacharach! Great Mack David lyrics too: "It creeps, and leaps, and glides and slides across the floor /right through the door, and all around the wall / a splotch, a blotch, be careful of the Blob!"

Is Taking A Sheet A Sustainable Concept?
Even with the quirky little music bed . . . we think this campaign may be a one hit wonder.
Yes, we all like "Taking a Sheet" the first time . . . even the second . . . but at some point we think audiences will no longer give a sheet and tune out.
We can't wait to see what comes next and how they will top this creative concept, but we hope they capitalize on the brand momentum and continue with the doo doo jokes for our collective amusement. We will push hard for a musical number for the second installment . . .

One Chord and The Truth With Kimya Dawson
I think we could take this music video as is and have it be a PSA. This one just hits home.
Truthful lyrics and an honest delivery over homemade visuals of her daughter's science project delivers a heavy message. No need for lots of big swells or anything fancy on the music production, the power of this music track and video is its total simplicity.
She is so effective as a storyteller and we always love when someone does so much more with less. Another terrific, poignant note from a real artist. Thanks Kimya!
