1. Song I Wish I Synched: Go Go Gottlieb have a really awesome and quirky track called “Off Track Bettor.” One of these days I'd love to put it under a film montage of a bunch of kids trying to win big playing the ponies!
2. Favorite Music Placement: “Death is the Only Real Thing” by The Chesterfield Kings in the upcoming, 2nd season opener of the Showtime original series "Shameless."
3. Most Requested Creative Direction: It's always "fun and upbeat" usually without any additional direction. I actually have a playlist of these ready to go that I update weekly, just for such an occasion!
4. New/Emerging Artist/Bands I Am Listening To: Have Gun, Will Travel and Big Terrible (Both of those bands kick some serious ass!)
5. Last Concert I Attended: Rush at the Gibson Amphitheater with Lodge Creative Director Jens Funke! My ears are STILL ringing!
6. My Favorite Online Music Web Site: Rhapsody (10 bucks a month, unlimited listens, can't go wrong!!!)
7. My Favorite Mobile Music App: Rhapsody does it all, but I also love Pandora
8. Number of Music Tracks I Listen To Everyday: That's a really tough one to answer considering the fact that if I'm not speaking to someone, I'm pretty listening to music from around 7:30 AM till 8:00 PM! I'd wager that the number is somewhere in the hundreds!
9. My Favorite Music Synch Curveballs: When all else fails, “The Whip” by Locksley always goes down smooth and satisfies!!! It's definitely my go to when the walls come a crumblin' down!
10. Favorite Cliche Movie Trailer Music Track: Diner track: D-SA0093 Take Flight. This track is chock full of tense horns and percussion and builds to an epic climax!
11. Favorite Cliche Action Sports Music Track: That would definitely be Diner track: D-SN0007 Prime Time Sports! It has those big horn fanfares and wailing electric guitar. Can't wait till I can put it under some sort of training montage!
12. Music Track Least Likely To Be Used Mom/Daughter Movie of The Week: Most certainly Music Playground Artist Kickstart's "Fuck Paul and Dance"! Something tells me that it probably wouldn't get passed the Lifetime Network sensors!
13. Music Track Most Likely To Be Used in a Pharma Commercial: Diner track: D-JT0044 Groove Baby for sure! Perfect for those dual-bathtub, Cialis commercials!!!
14. Instruments I Play: Guitar, piano, the occasional vocal, moonshine jug, oh and I do a mean vocal improvised didgeridoo!
15. Radio Station I Listen To Most: Sirius Classic Vinyl (Get the Led out!!!)
16. Favorite 80's Song: Africa by Toto! "Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti!"
17. Most Un-Licensable Track Ever: Informer by Snow. Although, there might be some licensable kitsch factor there in a parody movie about the crap we used listen to in the early 90's!
18. Biggest Licensing WTF Ever By A Major Artist: Sheryl Crow's "Soak up the Sun" in Best Buy commercials. Yeah... cause that makes sense.... Come on in to Best Buy, to purchase a giant TV or a kickass new computer, guaranteed that you will sit INSIDE all day!
